As an authority in the sector, what critical challenges do you think the AI community needs to deal with to make sure responsible & and ethical AI deployment?

Best if we learn the best way to make AI monitor itself for detecting unethical/unresponsible behavior, and we oversee it.

How has AI impacted your specific field of experience, and what transformative changes do you foresee within the near future?
  

Generative (GenAI) appears to be having probably the most impact in my field, and I believe it can for the foreseeable future. Of course overall for society, it’s predictive AI that has probably the most profound impact to this point.

 

How do you envision AI shaping various industries, and what advice would you give to businesses in search of to integrate AI into their operations?

  

Science and medicine is my primary focus now.

My advice to businesses of considerable size: create a Chief AI Officer role and hire the most effective.

 

In your opinion, what opportunities and challenges does AI present for job markets and workforce development worldwide?

For me it has been in curating knowledge for the Quantum Science and Brain Science Initiatives that I lead.

 

 

 

 

What measures do you think must be taken to bridge the AI research gap between developed and developing nations to make sure equitable technological progress?

  

Digital democratization is occurring rapidly, and this is excellent. We have to expand outreach to underprivileged countries and assure they’ve access to resources to prosper with all technology including AI.

 

What 2 people do you admire most on the planet of AI by way of their work?
  

Had to select just two, but I’ll go together with Drs. Newell and Simon of CMU since they’d probably the most influence on my early profession.

 

What advice would you give to aspiring AI researchers and enthusiasts who intend to make a positive impact in the sector?
  

Press forward

If you possibly can solve any global problem on the planet with AI, what wouldn’t it be and why?

 

Alzheimer’s disease. I’m dedicating time and resources to finding the cause and cure via the Brain Science Organization I co-founded.

What inspired you to take part in this AI summit as a speaker, and what message do you hope to convey to the audience?
  

The opportunity to bring quantum information science into the agenda, by giving the talk “Deep Dive right into a Quantum Machine Learning algorithm.”
